To achieve their vision\, the mission of Moving ME Forward is to mentor\, inspire and grow opportunities for individuals to develop and implement innovative strategies that will promote sustainable health and fitness changes within their communities. \nLast year Moving ME Forward gave over $10\,000 to programs that supported our local communities through monies raised during the Lake Auburn Half Marathon & 5K. These programs impacted the community through financial aid\, internships\, mentorships\, volunteer services and needed supplies such as sneakers and warm clothing. DESCRIPTION:UMaine’s Track and Field Team partnered with UMaine’s American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Sophomore Owls and Eagles societies for the Haunted Trails event. Participants are welcome to attend in their best Halloween costume to venture through the trails of the University of Maine\, enjoy Halloween music\, a costume contest\, and candy. Though it is called a “fun run”\, walking is welcome.\n\nWhere: University of Maine Football Field\nWhen: Sunday\, October 28th\nTime: 5:30 pm (race bib pick up at 4:30 pm)\nCourse: 5k run or mile walk through the UMaine trails\nPrice: Pre-registration $10\, Day of event $15\nRegistration Link: http://www.totalcamps.com/mainetrackandfield \nAll ages are welcome.
