DESCRIPTION:Gardiner – The Gardiner 5-Mile Road Race returns!!  After a hiatus of several years\, the Central Maine Striders and the Boys and Girls Club of Kennebec Valley are bringing back the Gardiner 5-Mile Road Race on Monday\, October 8\, 2018 at 8:00 AM\, beginning and finishing at the MaineGeneral’s Gardiner Campus\, which is located at 150 Dresden Avenue in Gardiner.  Proceeds of the race will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Kennebec Valley’s capital campaign.   A 1-mile time split\, refreshments\, and t-shirts (while they last) will be provided.  Registration forms are available by contacting the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Gardiner at 582-8458.  Race directors are Orm Irish (irishorm@aol.com) and Mark Johnston (mjohnston@roadrunner.com).

Our 3rd annual\, Running For Rides is a fundraiser/memorial race for Mary Parker.\n\nMary worked for Island Connections as the Transportation Coordinator for 7 years before having to step down due to her cancer diagnosis and treatment schedule.  This Annual race was created to honor and celebrate Mary’s passion for Island Connections’ mission\, our neighbors and volunteers. DESCRIPTION:UMaine’s Track and Field Team partnered with UMaine’s American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Sophomore Owls and Eagles societies for the Haunted Trails event. Participants are welcome to attend in their best Halloween costume to venture through the trails of the University of Maine\, enjoy Halloween music\, a costume contest\, and candy. Though it is called a “fun run”\, walking is welcome.\n\nWhere: University of Maine Football Field\nWhen: Sunday\, October 28th\nTime: 5:30 pm (race bib pick up at 4:30 pm)\nCourse: 5k run or mile walk through the UMaine trails\nPrice: Pre-registration $10\, Day of event $15\nRegistration Link: http://www.totalcamps.com/mainetrackandfield \nAll ages are welcome.
