It turned out to be fine day for Mindy Bisson, for whom the race
proceeds benefit. Mindy has Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome (4P-) which limits her
growth. She has gained two pounds since last year and at the age of three
can now say "NO". Hopefully Mindy will be walking next year at the event. It
sure was nice to see her smiling face today. It reminded me what life and
dreams are all about. Hopefully 1,000 runners will be in Saco next year to
see this little girl walk toward us. I wish to thank everyone for the
wonderful support given today.
