First annual Old Town Track Club Holiday Run and Gathering on Saturday, December 17^th. The agenda we’ve sketched out is as follows:

• 4:30pm: Christmas light run from the Old Town High School parking lot located at 203 Stillwater Ave in Old Town (park as close as you can to the tennis courts / football field). I’ve mapped out a 6-mile loop and a 4-ish mile loop that should allow for maximum light-seeing and minimal tricky road crossings (And certainly, you can add on if you want more miles!). It’ll be dark so wear a reflect and a headlamp! Ugly sweaters and/or holiday attire are welcomed if weather allows, but optional. I am hoping to have 1 or 2 “aid stations” with either cookies, hot chocolate, music, or some combination of the three, but need to figure out the logistics of doing so. All paces welcome and feel free to spread the word!
• 5:45pm: Post-run we can gather and meet up at my house, located at 48 Sewall Drive in Old Town (park on the left-hand side of the road and be sure to not block any neighbors’ driveways). The plan will be to have music playing, some drinks available, ample cookies and various treats, and we’ll order pizzas from Riverside Pizza (the official nutritional partner of Old Town Track Club). Feel free to bring food, drinks, or anything else that you’d want to contribute and/or consume. If the weather allows, we’ll plan on making use of the fire pit and deck. +1s are welcomed and encouraged! Also, bring a gift ($20 max, no min) for Yankee Swap if you’d like to participate.
